Blowing
Emcab cables are rigid yet flexible enough to be installed into tubes and include many options for installation by blowing.
Ducting
Fiber optic cables include dielectric and metallic cables for ducts and utility tunnels.
Direct Buried
Fiber optic cables designed for high reliability in harsh environment.
Submarine
Robust designs applied in the sea between land-based stations to carry telecommunication signals.
Aerial
Aerial cables are designed for installation on distribution and transmission lines.
Indoor
Applied inside buildings (including vertical runs), in trays, channels, on outer sides of buildings, as well as in ducts, tubes and blocks. Suitable for blowing-in into protecting polyethylene tubes.
Drop
Designed for aerial installation on transmission towers, lamp posts, between buildings and structures.
OPGW/Ground Wire
Applied in the construction of fiber-optic link on overhead transmission lines of 35 kV and more.
Fire Rated
Used for stationary installation when the optical fiber needs extra protection from mechanical damages.
20 November
One of the main international events in the industry — the CRU World Optical Fiber & Cable Conference — was held on October 26-28, 2020. CRU, a global consulting company that provides business analytics for various global markets, including the optical fiber and cable market, traditionally hosted the event. This year the conference was held online on a specially developed virtual platform but nevertheless brought together industry experts and leaders from all over the world.
The main topics of the CRU World Optical Fiber & Cable Conference 2020 under discussion were:
-the impact of the crisis and expected recovery for optical fiber and cable industry;
-identification of promising market segments and outsiders;
-the influence of government business support programs on the market;
-overview of the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
Among speakers there were Michael Finch (CRU), Bernhard Deutsch (Corning), Philippe Vanhille (Prysmian), Rob Wessels (Commscope), Karl Bauer (NBG Technologies), Alain Giraud (Rosendahl Nextrom SA) and Alexander Smilgevich (Incab).
At the conference, Alexander showcased Emcab to all market leaders in the industry. Moreover, the Embrace video was officially premiered there. Despite pandemic times, we are happy that knowledge about Emcab is spreading around the world!
